The 2019 growing season started in a challenging way in the Adelaide Hills, with an unseasonably cold September and the wettest November we’ve had since 2005. However this gave way to ideal conditions through summer and right up until picking in early autumn. The 2019 vintage Chardonnays from the Adelaide Hills are showing excellent quality and will be savoured for years to come.
Free run juice and pressings were fermented separately, the two parcels were then combined and a portion received some oak. It was left on partial yeast lees until racking in October.
