This wine has been handcrafted to combine bold blackberry fruits with the spice and earthiness for which Coonawarra is renowned. It is medium bodied in structure, yet has concentration and elegance with a smooth finish. This Cabernet is grown in our northern Coonawarra vineyard. It spent time in seasoned French oak for 20 months, before being bottled and cellared before release.

84 | Dusted fruit lift, red currant and some cocoa, subtle oak char. Leaner fruit profile on palate, touch dilute and lacking some stuffing. Tannin finished short.

85 | Crimsom/ brick red - medium depth. Lifted nose, some rubbery reduction - plum fruits. Still quite lively. Balanced and elegant.

84 | a bit fwd clr, charred oak, licorice, leathery, wet tannin, a bit lack of back palate
