A fresh, pretty nose of cassis, blackberries, blackcurrant, ripe cherry, and tobacco, with a hint of sage and thyme. Elegant tannins and a well-structured, deep black fruit profile, with no dominant oak, all beautifully balanced.

84 | Crimson. Plum fruit, peppery notes. Medium intensity. Medium finish. Plum aftertaste.

84 | ok clr, jammy, sweet spicy, oak, not much on the palate, a bit short at the back

86 | Slight pinched lift, Fruit dulled. Some compote and briary lift. Palate dusted with firm tannin and taught acidity. Has weight but seems a touch dilute.
