Westella Vineyard is a family owned winegrower in Rowella, located in the northern reaches of the Tamar Valley. Our 10 acres of Pinot Noir, planted in 2015, is located on a retired cow-grazing paddock and just a few hundred metres from kanamaluka/Tamar River. Our vineyard is entirely dedicated to the growing of Pinot Noir grapes from four different clones – MV6, D4V2, 115 and 777 – each lending their own personality to our small selection of wines. Our vines are hand-tended from pruning in the winter, through the growth of the canopies and fruit in spring and summer, and finally, their hand harvesting in autumn. And then we begin again. Our range of wines include a Sparkling Blanc de Noir, a Sparkling Vintage Rose and a number of fuller style Pinots that express the fleshy, dark fruits reminiscent of the grapes from our small corner of Rowella.
